Alternative Fundraiser

This is our only fundraiser for this school year…
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a dramatic impact on Bright Beginnings School, as well as our students and parents, teachers and staff. We have not been able to conduct our normal school fundraisers (two book fairs, fall Fun Run or spring Read-a-Thon) to support the school. At the same time, our expenses have increased as we have invested in additional health and safety measures, including sanitization stations in each classroom, PPE and deep cleaning services.
Many schools received CARES act money to offset some of the expense of PPE and added sanitization, but Bright Beginnings was not eligible for these funds.
We do not want to hold a fundraiser that will require time and effort on the part of parents or teachers. Both groups have already put countless additional hours into supporting students this school year.
We are asking our community to support Bright Beginnings School through a simple “alternative fundraiser.” There is no need to log pledges, track minutes read or ask family and friends to buy anything. We just ask you to consider making a direct donation to Bright Beginnings to help restore some of the funds we would have been able to generate during a “normal” year.

Class Incentives:
- The class with the highest percent participation will enjoy a popsicle party
- The class with the highest amount raised per capita will win a “Minute to Win It” party
